These Terms of Service apply to your use of The Student Tours website and to bookings made with The Student Tours. By using our website, submitting a booking, or participating in a tour, you agree to these terms. If a separate written agreement or invoice applies to your booking, that document will apply alongside these terms.

1. Bookings and Eligibility

Bookings are subject to availability, confirmation by The Student Tours, and receipt of any required deposit or payment. Students may need parent or guardian consent, health information, emergency contact details, and other information required to operate the tour safely.

2. Payments

Prices, deposits, payment due dates, and accepted payment methods will be shown on the relevant tour page, invoice, or booking communication. Your place may not be confirmed until required payment has been received. Additional costs such as flights, visas, insurance, spending money, optional activities, or merchandise may apply unless expressly stated as included.

3. Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or change a booking, contact us as soon as possible. Refunds, credits, and cancellation fees may depend on the timing of cancellation, supplier terms, payments already committed, and the details provided with your booking.

We may need to adjust itineraries, accommodation, activities, transport, or dates where reasonably necessary due to safety, weather, supplier availability, minimum numbers, or circumstances outside our control. We will communicate material changes as early as practical.

4. Safety and Conduct

Students must follow reasonable instructions from tour staff, activity providers, accommodation providers, transport operators, and other authorised personnel. We may remove a participant from a tour if their conduct creates a safety risk, significantly disrupts the tour, or breaches important tour rules. Parents or guardians may be responsible for any resulting costs.

5. Health, Travel Documents, and Insurance

You are responsible for providing accurate medical, dietary, emergency contact, passport, visa, and flight information where requested. Unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing, participants are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents and suitable travel or medical insurance.

6. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit false information, or use our content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, copy, images, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to The Student Tours unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially use our materials without permission.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law. To the extent permitted by law, The Student Tours is not responsible for indirect loss or for issues caused by inaccurate information supplied to us, third-party providers, participant conduct, or events outside our reasonable control.
